The Lutherrose has been Luthers symbol and way of sealing his letters since 1530. The rose stood for his beliefs in faith, peace, joy and heaven. Taking the rose, abstracting it and translating it into modern day communication it can be an emblem for a new sort of community. If you look carefully, you can find the rose spread around the city, a subtle hint of its presence in modern days. Giving out the rose broche exclusively to visitors in Wittenberg, they find a code to register on it to register at an online plattform, that connects people with similar beliefs and provides them with a place to share their experiences in Wittenberg.
